"We want to make it easy and profitable
|
|
for customers to do business with us."

For new customers and current customers alike.
Process for seed recommendation:
Step 1 - Onsite basic needs assessment
One of our three certified crop advisors will come to your location for a
basic needs consultation. We will then obtain satellite imagery maps of
the land and develop field identification numbers for proper cataloging of data.
Step 2 - Soil Samples with Variable rate technology
Soil sample data is gathered by field using Variable rate technology
practices. A grid is drawn over a satellite image of the field, soil samples
are taken from the center of each grid box in the field. From the results of
these samples the application trucks can be guided with GPS through the field
to apply only the materials where needed. This practice is not only good
economically for the farmer, but it is also extremely good for the environment
since products are not being over applied.
Step 3 - Recommendations
Recommendations of fertility, seed, and chemical are made on a field
by field basis. Soil types, weed pressures, and environmental conditions are
evaluated in the recommendation process.
Step 4 - Record retention
We maintain a vast amount of data for each client in our records.
This information is used in the following years for a factor in the
recommendation process and to monitor soil changes over time.
